I just read a blog. I rather not mention it's address because what I am gonna write now may be "QUESTIONABLE". Don't worry though, I am pasting part of his "writings" down here in color.
SO it goes like
i was at a post office and i wanted to buy some thing but i didn't have a change ( of rs 6) i had a 100 rupee note and guy on the other side of table was in no mood to help me out.i was running out of time since the postoffice was going to close.if i go to near by shop [to get a change]post office wuld surely get close,so i was fighting with the officer sitting there, then a aged lady comes near me she buys some stamps and offers to pay my amount also,i very politely thanked her & refused to take money from her,i said that i wuld go to a near by shop and will get a change myself, she said "son take this money ,consider it as a gift from myside". i was watching her and she paid my amount,i saw a very warm feeling in her eyes.............Nice ha!!
Well don't think that you are gonna read such crap here on my blog. Its perhaps the only place where I can say something what I feel without any obligations or compulsions. So what I feel about the post above??? ITS A LOAD OF BULLSHIT
Well he might ran in by some random mellodramatic situation but the truth is, LIFE IS NO CUPCAKE. Its full of hardships, sorrows, miseries and on top of everything: IMPERFECTION.
People being nice and kind to each other, everyone happy and contended. All these thoughts are not only Utopian but insane too. We the Indians cherish movies like "Vivah", where we love how a to be bride and groom behave; where even the most disastrous accidents are faced boldly. But here is the trick of the filmmaker where we all fell for. Lets just say that in the movie the face of the to be bride gets damage. What will happen then?? I am not talking of the movie scenes. I am talking the scene at the theaters. The time you show your audience an accident their hearts fill with empathy but dont you ever dare to show them that burnt ugly face, because the moment you do that you fill the viewers hearts with this ugly, aweful feeling of watching a trashed face. What will happen to the movie?? BOO, gone, finished, just like that.
Now think a real scenerio where things are not as preety as Amrita Rao. The same audience who deal with there lives outside the theaters behave exactly the opposite. They kill for dowry, they make poor to suffer. They backstab their friends just for petty margins. So do they do any wrong? well its not me to judge, ITS NO ONE TO JUDGE.
Peeopl doing aweful things are considered as villains in our society. Look the most interesting character in our mythology: "KARNA". He was intelligent, kind, helpful. His childhood was harsh but despite of wverything he proved himself. But how does it all go down for him? Tragic. Why? Just because of the fact that he was on the wrong side of the play. Well Kourvas were the friends he giot when even his own mother disowned him. So was he really doing any bad by favouring them. NO I guess. But he has to end tragically because he did something aweful by favouring the wrong side.
This is how we as a community or society think. We dont consider the conditions or the reasons. We judge people by their behaviour and looks. We see Politicians who stand in nice white cloths speaking about the welfare, we clap. Not even once we think of the FIR lounched against them fo r murdrs or rapes. We see a pretty face on television saying that this cream can work wonders, we go and buy them. Reasoning is perhaps the last thing that we consider before taking any action. Its all about disguisses.
My whole point of this post is to make a point that its not about good or bad. World does not run on honesty or well doing or evil. Its important for us to realize that books and realities dont go hand in hand. Perfection and Justice were never existed and they will never be, and the best part is we dont have to feel bad about it.
If you are not able to comprehend me, just do a little experiment. Observe a beautiful chik and a ugly geek for one day. You would be suprised.
